Stirling is delighted to be attending this year’s Farnborough Airshow, which is being held between the 14th-20th July 2014. The Farnborough Airshow is world-renowned event, which is staged every two years and attracts some of the biggest players in the international aerospace industry. The 2012 event saw over 1500 exhibiting companies, 107,000 trade visitors and over US$72billion of confirmed orders or commitments.

For Stirling, the bi-annual event is hugely important. The Aerospace sector remains a key area for growth for us, particularly within the international markets. During the week, the Stirling representatives will be meeting with existing and new customers, and will also be looking to make new connections with other event attendees who are looking for innovative aerospace technologies.

Michelle Raven, Business Development Manager of Stirling commented “The Farnborough Airshow is an immensely significant event for Stirling. Time and again, it provides fantastic networking opportunities for us. This year we are looking to explore new strategic relationships and grow our already thriving aerospace sector. This year’s show is especially exciting for us as a company as the F-35 Lightning II is due to take part in the flying display. Stirling has been involved with the F-35 Lightning II training and simulation programme since 2005 as the sole suppliers of the high fidelity stick and throttle simulator sets into Lockheed Martin. We are eagerly waiting to see the world’s most advanced fighter jet it in action.”
