The Reginald Fessenden Sailing Challenge 2021

The month of May is National Walking Month and to help celebrate Stirling Dynamics has joined forces with our parent company, Expleo, to encourage staff across both companies to take part in our Fuelled by Foot challenge. We are challenging Stirling employees to walk 10,000 steps a day throughout May to raise funds for our charity of the year, Fare Share South West, and reduce their carbon footprint.
For every individual who hits the target of 180,000 steps (around 6,000 steps a day), Stirling Dynamics will donate £5 to FareShare South West. If any individual exceeds 300,000 steps (around 10,000 steps a day), Stirling Dynamics will donate £10. £10 is the equivalent of 40 meals for FareShare South West so we hope to be able to make a big difference with this challenge.
Walking is not only is good for the mind and the body but the Fuelled by Foot challenge is also helping put food on the table for families across the South West. FareShare South West forms part of the UK’s largest food charity and tackles food poverty in the region by redistributing surplus food that would otherwise go into landfill.
