Case Studies

Regional Aircraft Design Support
To achieve delivery of the company’s first regional jet aircraft programme, Mitsubishi Aerospace Corporation (MitAC) turned to Stirling for our specialist support. The range of skills required to service the aircraft design were not available within the company or even within the region, so external expertise was required to progress the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ), latterly known as the Mitsubishi Spacejet.

During the development of their first aircraft with wing-mounted engines, Bombardier Aerospace approached us to provide an independent evaluation of the aircraft design loads. The key attraction was the set of mature tools and processes that we could offer, developed over multiple programmes, to carry out an independent evaluation of the loads.
